Course Description

This 1-Day iOS/iPhone/iPad User Interface Design Course is for technology professionals who need to quickly master the user-interface design choices available for iOS apps, including the iPhone, the iPod Touch, and the iPad.

The course begins by introducing the key iOS app types, including: Window-based app, View-based app, Utility-based app, Tab Bar app, Navigation-based app, Split View-based app and OpenGL ES app.

The course then introduces Interface Builder, the key tool used to lay out the user interface at design time.

The remainder of the course covers the key user interface objects, including: Windows, Views, Inputs, Values, Bars, and Data Views.

At the end of the course, technology professionals will understand the key look and feel options for iOS apps.


Prerequisites

Students should be familar with user interface design techniques. NOTE: There is no requirement to write code in this course. Rather, the course is for those who focus on the look and feel, or user interface, of an iOS app.
